Nice little gem of a place. Food lovely, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Guy singing and not too loud during the day. Adds to the place.
Although quite touristy, they still maintain the feel of a great Irish pub. The staff and the service are fantastic. Management are both gentlemen. All round great pub and an asset to the city and to Temple Bar.
Loved this place, got there well hangover in the morning to shelter from the rain. Watched how it slowly started to fill up with people. Great food, drink and live music.
Nice pub. Old school look and live music. Also, quite a good variety of beers.
What a place! This was our first stop on Temple Bar and it lived up to the hype! My wife and I queued for just around 15 minutes before getting a table, which is great for anywhere in Temple Bar. We were served quickly, and both the food and drink were delivered with care and quality. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed a delicious meal and wonderful fiddle tunes with live music. Eimear took very good care of us.
Food was delicious! The chicken wings were to die for! We loved our experience!!
Great spot! Tasty food, great service, irish atmosphere.
Great irish coffee w/Paddy Irish Whiskey and fantastic seafood chowder. Friendly staff. Yummy Bailey's cheesecake.
Cozy traditional bar serving good food, very nice ambiance. Group of us sat in the basement with live music and we realized that most of the people there are tourist groups. Just a note that they charge 10% on top of food and drinks for group bookings. Wide selections of beer and stout. I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly.
Very nice atmosphere and staff. Food came fast, live music was phenomenal.Very busy though highly recommend.
AMAZING WINGS!! The food is outstanding here and the portions are huge. Great beer, atmosphere, servers, and location. Enjoyed both times that I went. I have always been sat quickly even when it was busy.
Lovely place. The waiter was really nice and friendly (way to go Jean) and the food was very good. There's also a nice atmosphere here, often accompanied by live music. The prices aren't too steep either, so all in all that makes this the perfect pub stop for you. Enjoy!
Highly recommend! Enjoy beautiful fresh food with a great atmosphere. Staff are fast a friendly and the live music was brilliant.
Nice real feeling. The Temple Bar is more touristic. This is more the real thing.
We loved the place!! Irish pub! With really tasteful food and huge portions! Fish and chips delicious! Very friendly and polite service! We will definitely come back!
It is a typical Irish Pub with live music and pretty good environment. Its prices are not too expensive and you can enjoy a good experience for drinking and eating in this place.
This Storehouse is very charming i think. The live-music makes a very special atmosphere and I nerver ate fish and chips more tasty than there. Yes, the food is a little expensive but really recommendable. The service is very fast and always friendly even there is a lot of work. You get the feeling that you're very welcome there. So go in. 😊
Great place! The spicy wings are delicious! And the team are super friendly! Will be back for sure!
Oh my gosh my FAVORITE Irish stew here! Great hospitality, live music and traditional Irish food. It was great to have some Irish coffees at the bustling Temple bar, and then head over a block to here for dinner for something a little less crowded by still an authentic Irish experience.
Jam packed quaint Irish bar. Lots of room upstairs, food looked good, great band. People from all walks of life and all she groups go here and all have a great time being together.
Food not tasty. Not all but from my personal experience pasta with mushrooms was like soup. Few pennine and a lot of sauce. Maybe meat dishes are good but vegetarian dishe deserve 3 stars. In good point it is opportunity to improve vegetarian dishes.
Food was great but waitress one in particular had a very bad attitude towards 11 French people who came to eat . Made the rest of the diners uncomfortable the Australian family sitting facing us didn't want to ask her to take back something they didn't order incase of upsetting her further ! Really nice food and music great .. my review is based on what I've stated would be back again definitely just not to eat if she was working
Great location to enjoy the tipical Irish food and environment. Really good and very friendly people. Super recommend!
Fantastic bar with friendly staff and great food. Would recommend going.
Had a lot of fun in this place. The music bands where amazing. If you are looking a place with nice live music that offers Irish whiskey and ðŸº, this is the place
I don't write reviews for many places, but this was easily the best place we ate and experienced in Ireland. We stopped in on our last night, and it was an absolute dream. We experienced: live music, Irish step dancing, and one of the best meals we had in the whole country. My husband got the bangers and mash and I had the fish and chips. BEST fish and chips! Everything was seasoned perfectly, the chips and breading were perfectly crispy and golden brown, and the mashed peas were vibrant and had a contrast in texture that was very pleasing. We sat by the kitchen; looking in, it was absolutely spotless. The chef only turns the heat lamp on occasionally, meaning: your food is the freshest and hottest it can possibly be. The service was wonderful, despite how incredibly busy the restaurant was. Our server Jean was very nice, charming, and attentive. If you're in Dublin for only a day, you MUST go to this place!
Good local Irish music. Too loud on first floor, but second floor is just right. Menu is good. Not expensive. Downtown Dublin is a zoo on the weekend. Similar to new Orleans during Marti gras or sixth street in Austin on Saturday night...
Highly recommend. The restaurant has a range of classic dishes that taste amazing. For the big portions that are served, the price is quite worth it. Our waiter was also super friendly and helpful, taking extra time to talk us through both the food and drinks menu. The service was really fast, so if you're on a schedule but want a hearty meal, this is the place to go. If I ever visit again, I would come back for the seafood chowder.
Absolutely love this place. One of the most enjoyable bars to visit for a night out and a few drinks which located in the heart of Temple bar. They also have incredible live music but the highlight has to be Jake Suleman who plays there every Saturday night in the main stage area. He creates an amazing atmosphere while playing with different musicians. I've being here many nights now and have never had a bad night here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking a pub/restaurant with amazing atmosphere.
Walked around Temple bar and found this gem. Excellent atmosphere, great music and wonderful Irish food. Irish stew and mash with soda bread was to die for. Gill had Cottage pie and glazed carrots. Plenty of Guinness on tap made for a fabulous visit. Didn't disappoint.
I was looking for a place where I could have a pint or two, and enjoy some traditional music. The Old Storehouse was exactly what I was looking for! The staff were wonderful, the beer and cider were delicious, and the music was just what I wanted. Next time I'm in Dublin, I'll definitely end up back here!
This place is amazing for its live music, especially if you go on Saturdays at 11.30pm to listen to James O'Sullivan. He lights the place up. Incredible energy, the crowd goes wild. Good vibes. The people at the bar are a good bunch too, great service.
Really cool place and atmosphere. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
We were having dinner today and the waitress was really rude. The food was good but the service of this lady was really uncomfortable... I will not recommend.
Great pub and ace entertainment. Open late. The atmosphere makes up forbthe price of a pint.
Absolutely AMAZING!! The food was delicious, all the staff were friendly and inviting. My daughter had a delightful time dancing to the wonderful Irish music! Thank you for a wonderful experience we will be sure to come back. We will definitely recommend The Old Storehouse to our friends or anyone who asks for a good place to eat and have a pint.
Very nice pub with great food. Fish and chips were great as were the steamed mussels with a cream bacon sauce. The live music was very good also.
I dont give 5 points usually cause I'm so stingy to give it. It needs some WOW effect. Then It's maybe not the same for all customers cause people are different. Your staff were very friendly and emphatic and I enjoyed a lot. I hope you survive over this COVID-19 crisis. We have the same situation In Finland and many restaurants struggle a lot. I'll be back to Ireland some day cause irish people are the friendliest and kindest I ever met! All the best for you!
Really good! Nice atmosphere and service. Delicious cottage pie and Guinness stew.
Great place. Friendly staff and excellent food. Too bad the kitchen was closed at 9:42PM when I tried to order dessert.
My friend and I visited in early February. It was truly one of the best parts of our trip! When my friend lost her watch in the pub and went back to look for it, I spent some time chatting with George who was stationed outside. He was truly wonderful. Oh, I should mention that the music was great too. The singer performed Sweet Home Chicago for us. :) I highly recommend this establishment!!!
On a Friday night it was good, it had a lively duo of women playing live music and it was fun. However , we went back on the Saturday and it was two men playing and it was much more of a relaxed scene and felt a bit dead! So would personally recommend the friday night if you are looking for a fun time.
A great place to grab a pint and food. Staff is amazing and everyone is friendly and helpful. Best place to go.
Delicious food and very friendly service. Ate at the bar, the bartender was very attentive and suggested the Irish Cottage Pie which was delicious. It was filling and flavorful and paired with a Jameson neat, it was great. The live music was entertaining as well. Definitely a spot to visit when in Temple Bar.
I absolutely loved this place. Live Irish music in the bar and good ambience in the restaurant. The food was very good and our server was even better. She was gorgeous and reminded us of Lara Croft. What could be better than eating spectacular Irish food with music in the background while Lara Croft smiles and brings your food? Nothing! I will definitely visit the Old Storehouse again!
Great pub and staff had such a good time will go back again one day I am sure .
Amazing staff. Friendly and spontaneous. Food incredibly delicious. Huge portions. Absolutely worth a visit.
Nice pub but it was very expensive in comparison to the offers presented .... at least it has a wide variety of pints and good atmosphere!
Great atmosphere and drinks! It is an all wooden place from the inside in three different levels which also has contact with a small stage. There was live music with traditional tunes and it really made up into the experience of being at an Irish pub!
